My Car Repair Workshop - Too Costly or Too Risky

The Automobile company authorized car garage are way to expensive. The only alternative is to give you car to a local garage. But you are never sure what they will do. You are worried that they should not replace some parts or do further damage to your car, leave alone repair it like the authorized workshop will. This is a problem, can we solve this and make some money out of it. Again, as all articles this one also is not a business plan. It is an idea which I believe has a business potential.

What I can think is to do this. Talk to the local garages. Sell them the idea of being the member of a nation-wide or state wide (to start with) Car Garage chain, which has standard service quality which also gets marketed in the media. You train them and certify them. Advertise the USP of this economical Garage chain which has a certain level of quality assurance. You need to set some processes to make sure the stealing thing does not happen.

You can get your revenue from training and certification fees and may be an annual membership charges. Please let me know your comments and how will YOU solve this problem and make money.

Web Forums - so many of them

Whenever we are in a problem, we google it out. Many a times we get answers from Yahoo Answers (and many similar to them), Web Forums (like .NET forum, JAVA Forum etc.)

This is also the case with a distinct product on web, Social Media. Why cant I have all my friends from all my social sites, and all their tools at one place?

I believe that their is certainly a need for these. Again "I believe" this, and it need not be true.

Revenue source I can think at this point are advertisments (if you see the top players in Web Space earn most of their revenue through this tool, so this is not a bad tool at all).

Money Change - chutta paisa

I was taking an auto-rickshaw to my place and the auto-wala demanded "change". Now this happened not once but many times (I do carry change with me every time, but it gets exhausted). One gentleman could not board the rickshaw because he did not have change. I saw people fighting over change in crowded market, where no shopkeeper is willing to give you change till you buy something from him. So what can be done to slove this problem?

A simple cash vending machine? Giving out change for free in crowded market places, near bus and rickshaw stands. Now 2 main questions arise:
1. How do I make money?
2. What about security of these "money machines" dear?

Answer 1: Advertisments. As you are have something many people come everyday and see everyday at crowded marketplaces, you can rent the body of your machine for local and genral marketing. This would work like just other outdoor adertisments, and hoadrings in your city.

Answer 2: Atlease two things needs to be done.

i. Try to Keep them near ATMs and Banks (you have armed gaurds near them). It is easy to fill them also near such places.
ii. Have an alarm system, which transimts signal to local police station when a lock is broken to steal money.


I know there are many flaws. As I have told Ideas here will be abstract and at a top-level, but can be worked upon to build a real business.

We face so many problems everyday, and as they say "Every problem represents and opportunity". So, I will try to make some loud sounding, vague, abstract business ideas from the problems faced daily. Lets see what comes out of it.
